Looking for a role that provided lots of people contact, the opportunity to provide an important service and that utilized his negotiating skills, energy and enthusiasm, Cameron moved into real estate in 2011 after a career as a professional PGA golfer.
He bought his ability to focus single mindedly on getting the best golf score to his new career and quickly established himself as an agent who applied his intellect and his dedication to helping people achieve the highest price possible when they sold their home.
“I’m always conscious of that fact that people are entrusting me to sell their biggest asset. They are relying on me to do everything necessary to find that buyer who will pay the most. I believe that knowledge is power and therefore I ensure that I know the details of every property in the area – what it last sold for and what it is likely to realize now.”
Cameron believes that prompt and frequent communication is the most important aspect of providing a good service. “When someone is selling their home they deserve to know exactly what is going on. What the market is currently doing, what buyers think of the property and what they think it is worth. That way the vendor has the knowledge to make well informed decisions throughout the sales campaign.”
When not working, Cameron relaxes by playing golf, fishing and following his beloved Richmond Tigers.
