Originally from New Zealand, Darren has always been in roles where he used his considerable sales and negotiation skills to achieve success and was awarded top sales person in New Zealand and Australia by Cobra products. He has also run his own sales business and believes his exceptional work ethic is the reason for his success.
Darren was drawn to real estate in 2010 as a career where he could use his skills in a way that would help people get a better result when selling their biggest asset. “I believe anyone can sell a home – if you wanted to you could sell your own home. But I’m not interested in just selling your home; I’m interested in getting the best possible price for it for you.” It’s not just about achieving a great price; Darren prides himself on also delivering an excellent customer experience. “The experience the property owner has when selling through me is equally as important as the result. I believe that communication is key. Knowing what’s going on every step of the way is vitally important for the seller. That way there are no surprises, they understand how the sales campaign is going and they have the knowledge to make the right decisions when the offers roll in.”
A keen soccer (football) supporter Darren loves nothing than relaxing by watching his beloved Nottingham Forest play. He’s also enjoys a good game of snooker.
